APPLIED QIGONG THERAPY Part 1 at OCTCM

In the first of a two-part course on qigong therapy, students learn the basics of qigong as an applied adjunctive therapy for TCM  practitioners. Students learn to sense a  patient’s qi for the purpose of diagnosis (for example, feeling the radiant temperature near the body) and learn the basic principles of qi connection for the purpose of assisting the natural flow of health and inviting energetic imbalances back into harmony.

PREREQUSITES: QIG-802 (Qigong Self Cultivation), TCM-102 & TCM-103 (TCM Foundation I & II), ACU-201-203 (Meridians and Acupoints I & II), BME-501-502 (Anatomy and Physiology I &II, TCM-100 Yangsheng/Chinese Health Cultivation, & QIG-805 Qigong Therapy I or Special Permission from the instructor
