Courage comes from the Latin word Cor meaning Heart. Later Old French Corage including meaning state of mind and then later English came to be associated with bravery and strength of spirit. The focus of this class is in learning and practicing internal martial arts techniques, as much as it is in cultivating one’s heart, mind, and spirit.
This class is appropriateĀ for people brand new to martial arts AND to those who are well- practiced and are looking for ways to find commonality and relationality across styles.
This class aims to assist you in building confidence, self-regulation, and heartful courageous responsiveness amidst intensity and conflict.
Claire gratefully acknowledges her teachers Sifu Dylan Kirk and Sifu Chik Qadir Mason of Spiritwind Internal Arts.
