SPRING Moves: Axis Syllabus Movement Intensive

In this Day-long workshop, we will explore Spring potential in our moving bodies. From the nature of our tissues to the relationship with our environment, we will explore the tensile web of interconnectivity.

How does connecting with the spring-like, coiling potential in our bodies assist us in our moving lives? We will investigate joint congruity, elastic recoil, and our ability to recycle kinetic energy.

The morning session will offer explorations and hands-on, moving study of anatomy and biomotion.

The afternoon session will bring our earlier investigations into diverse locomotion options through space.

Morning session: 10am – 12:30pm

Afternoon session: 2pm – 4:30pm

$95 regular

$80 early (paid before February 20th)

$65 bring a friend (sign up with a friend and pay before February 19th, and each person gets $30 off the regular rate)

Claire has been teaching movement since 2010. As a Certifying teacher of the Axis Syllabus© she is dedicated to helping empower folks to become more informed and inquisitive movers. The Axis Syllabus© will serve as a primary tool for developing our understanding of our moving parts.
